there's a lot of cold sea surface temperatures here. where the moisture goes can be a problem for fire weather. we have to watch out for the thunderstorms and where the moisture streams off this thing. it looks like most of it will stay off of yosemite. no real impacts on the bay area to wrap up the weekend. around the bay area, you'll notice low clouds surging inland again. high temperatures as we wrap up the weekend looked a lot like today, places like morgan hill and areas south of san jose should be in the 80s, low 70s as you get further north from palo alto up to redwood city. pretty comfortable temperatures. mid-60s for san francisco. highs again pretty cleese to 70 degrees. 80s inland around concord and pittsburgh. winds unite of the south, places like santa rosa and sonoma. mid to upper 80s around lake port. thanks to a stronger sea breeze as we get back to the workweek. we try to drop down in the temperatures. next weekend we can see a sizable ridge of high pressure build in. if that happens, it's been a while since we've been

temperatures now comfortable, the sea breeze, it's weak to moderate. it will be turning stronger, though, as the ocean air conditioning ramps up it's going to bring our temperatures down as we head into the weekend a side benefit to this will be better air quality. today, east bay, tri-valley locations in the moderate range. this should turn green as we head into the weekend as the sea breeze picks up and our temperatures drop on down. we have this trough approaching the west coast. this is going to scoop up the marine layer, bring in the cooler air. inland areas today probably still low 90s out there, but certainly by sunday we'll see the temperatures cooling down as the sea breeze turns stronger. if you have travel plans we're watching tropical storm calvin which will continue to strengthen but a path that will take us south of baja california so good news with that system moving away from mexico. around the bay, mid 80s in san jose, 60s san francisco, mid 70s around oakland and 80s and 90s for the inland valleys of the north bay. seven-day forecast

the sea breeze, late day sea breeze punching inland. obviously we've got clearer skies. no sign of any low clouds on the coast, so it's going to be a gorgeous holiday weekend for places like santa cruz where we could see temperatures getting close to 80 by sunday. high pressure, the main story here. if you are headed to the high country, look out for a couple of things. one you get up there you'll see the snow melt and high runoff totals coming out of the creeks and streams and rivers. look out for that and take the sunblock. we'll see 80s and 90s even around south lake tahoe by sunday and monday. toasty in the sierra. obviously even hotter back here around the bay area. now this evening, i think we'll have 60s all the way through 11:00 tonight. it will be nice and comfortable inland. by tomorrow, as we wait for the sun to come up, we'll see 40s and 50s across the north bay. upper 50s around san jose. look at the temperatures tomorrow, morgan hill, one of the hottest places around the area, close to 100. low 90s around san jose. from the almadden valley and los gatos in
