i'm garvin thomas in for diane dwyerer. developing news out of east bay tonight. a major freeway remains shutd n shutdown. a van driver may have intentionally ran down and then dragged a motorcycle on eastbound interstate 580 in san leandro. nbc bay area's kimberly tere is there with the very latest. kim. >> reporter: garvin, eastbound 580 has been shut down for seven hours now as investigators take a look at the accident that killed one man, possibly a member of the hells angels and put another behind bars. >> reporter: this is the aftermath of a deadly accident on eastbound 580 in san leandro. police say the driver of a paratransit van hit a motorcyclist and dragged his bike a mile before coming to a stop close to 150th avenue. the victim was ejected off of the motorcycle, went underneath the van, and then the van proceeded with the motorcycle to a further spot down the freeway. >> reporter: police are investigating this as a homicide and have arrested the driver of the van. they say they're looking into reports that an altercation led the van's driver to intent
