it will be plenty cold, in fact it may wind up staying colder longer than we originally thought. with this is we are not talking massive volumes of precipitation, just some. that on cold roadways means some slippery spots. the entire region is placed under a winter weather advisory until 1:00 tomorrow afternoon. take a look at temperatures and precipitation in in the time stamp in the upper right-hand corner. the frozen mass starts to move in the late tonight. we will have a transition to freezing rain. then during the day tomorrow it will transition out. we just do not have the timing down. look how close the temperatures are to freezing. there is a lot to keep an eye on. as far as the time line of things, we think 10:00 to midnight snow or sleet will start. it will not give very warm tomorrow. as far as how much maybe around 1 inch through the metro area. one-3 inches farther north. you probably will just have a cold rain. look at the map for the next few days. 30% chance ran on sunday. monday it turns much warmer with more break. and then a mild week next week. upper 50's again
