the car hits the bikers. the bikers hit the ground as the car takes off.kily, neither gregory or his friend was seriously hurt. they are just bruised. their bikes are seriously damaged. >> this is a tricky spot. people are taking off. there's not enough shoulder. >> reporter: it might have ended there were it not for the tiny camera mounted on the bike of gregory's friend. gregory is an avid cyclist, a member of a racing team. they often video tape training rides to improve their technique. gregory turned the tape in to police and posted it on youtube. it's gotten more than 200,000 hits. police slowed the video down and enhanced it enough to see the license number. it traced back to this man, 43-year-old michael, two says he wasn't driving that day, that the car had been stolen. police don't seem to be buying his story. they arrested him for felony hit and run and several other charges. including violation of probation. he's set to be arraigned today. he's held on $100,000 bail. he was already on probation for having a switchblade. both bikers were wearing
