i am here with john garcia. and the head of the civil section -- responsible for the evictions. he will hand out something to circulate to you. as you all know, the sheriff's department is mandated with writs of possession for a evictions. we have a small number of foreclosure-related infections that we have actually performed. if you look out the hand out, during the five months -- we have a total of 1238 provisions, with 37 that were related to foreclosures. and of the 37 we performed 25. so this is a small percentage of the evictions that we actually perform. i wanted to indicate before he talks to you about how the procedures took place -- this has been done since the early days of the former sheriff's tenure, this works to enforce and affect the rights -- and we will talk to you about how this works. we have been gathering data on the evictions and we are doing more comprehensive data collection together to better understand the actual foreclosure-related divisions that are performed by the department. i will have lieutenant garcia speak to you. >> when the sheriff's depart

i'm john kelley. >> and i'm laura garcia-cannon. a man is in the hospital this morning after an overnight shooting in richmond. christie smith is live with the latest for us. christie? >> good morning to you. richmond police are still onscene. they have removed the crime scene tape and one of the cars involved in this shooting is now gone. they've removed the tape and you can see the car that the victim was riding in. the drive's side window is completely shot out. i counted at least eight bullet holes in the door and front side of the car. v police trying to piece together what happened. but here's what we know. around 3:00 this morning their spot shotter technology let them know there were multiple gun shots in this neighborhood. when they got here, they say they found a male victim in that car. he was slumped over the steering wheel. he was airlifted to the medical center. they're still not sure what condition he's in right now. that's what police were telling me. there was a second car here, a white sedan. they think that may ha

john kelley. >> and i'm laura garcia-cannon. interstate 680 closed in both directions right now. may be that way for the next couple of hours all because of a big rig crash before 10:00 last night in pleasanton. take a look at that. truck hit the concrete divider with such impact it sent debris in the oncoming lane. adding to the complications of the cleanup, the truck was carrying barrels of hazardous materials. the truck driver was having mechanical problems before the accident. >> for other reasons it had went into the center divider and collided into the center divider wall which caused it to overturn on the passenger side. >> cars were involved in the accident, but luckily no reports of any injuries. let's get right to mike right now with the latest. >> i apologize to running to set. but we did just get updated information, eight, maybe even ten vehicles, that may be the tally we hear. the hazardous material onboard sounds like diesel fuel was spilled. and they were worried that 150 gallons were involved. and even though the map says it's closed in both directions, the updat

. >> i'm marla tellez in for laura garcia-cannon. >> and i'm john kelley. new this morning, oakland police this hour investigating a shooting that sent three people to the hospital. one of those people wounded may have been an innocent passer by hit by a stray bullet. live in oakland right now. all the latest on the flying bullets. christie, good morning. >> reporter: good morning to you. yeah, a triple shooting in east oakland. and neighbors who live blocks from the scene are telling us they heard dozens of rounds being fired. and it appears one of the victims may have just accidentally driven into the scene. a roommate of his tells us he was grazed in the collarbone by a bullet. and they got called to holly street after 11:00 last night. they found two young men down, one shot in the leg and the other in the chest. they are looking into reports that they may have been firing on each other. talk about timing. a third man drives by, police say it looks like he may have had nothing to do with it and was just struck by a bullet right through the car window. o

garcia-cannon. >> good morning, everybody, i'm john kelley. we are following developing news out of the east bay where federal agents are at the scene of a massive pot bust and overnight raid at an oakland warehouse. christie smith joining us live from oakland where the dea has joined local authorities in that investigation. good morning, christie. >> reporter: good morning to you, john. yeah, the dea was out here earlier. right now, seeing a lot of oakland police officers inside this warehouse. the lights keep going on and off, but i think what's happening right now if we can take a look, this truck coming up. there are a number of garbage bags on the back of it. i asked an officer earlier what was in those garbage bags and he told me marijuana plants. one officer said there are over 1,000 plants inside the building. part of an ongoing investigation here at 89th avenue and g street, tucked away in east oakland. the dea was here earlier, one officer says this started with a s.w.a.t. operation. about 33 officers involved inside. they tell me th
