i've had reports of drizzle up in the marine headlands but that's about it. the system to the south is moving off. this system to the north is kind of moving and in it'll try us for a chance of maybe a sprinkle and that's it. high pressure starts to build back in and when high pressure builds in, by sunday, tomorrow will be nicer. so upper 60s low 70s. but by sunday that'll be nice. the forecast highs tonight or overnight lows, 40s and low 50s. i wouldn't be surprised to see a little valley fog. you might see a little bit of it. and over by black point maybe. e high pressure sets up today. we're low 60s and saturday and sunday temperatures warm. saturday accident mid-70s and sunday probably some mid-and low 80s and next week we're going to see some low 90s. it's going to be a very indian summer pattern. not expecting a big red flag warning. bouilli watch that because you never know. the forecast for tomorrow then you can see here in the evening hours you have a little bit of fog returning to the coast and you start of see sunday less fog, more sun and tempera

fact, the view over san francisco looking to the north we do have some clouds there atop the marin headlandsyou can see the band of low clouds. but the puffy cumulus clouds building in the sky during the day, moisture heating in the day and right over the mountains acting like a ski jump. the air starts to rise, creates the puffy looking clouds. not enough for showers today. but as more moisture and more lift comes into the bay area, yes, we're going to be talking about increasing chance of showers around some of our mountaintops. temperatures 60s and 70s outside. not too far off from today's highs. pretty steady sea breeze, keeping our temperatures in the tri-valley in the low 70s. so the clouds you just saw there north of san francisco, we're seeing a few more right around the santa cruz mountains. and you're on the summit of highway 17. this area especially will see a really good chance of showers starting tomorrow. and then as we head towards wednesday and thursday. right now the radar will show you thunder off to the north. that's are the area of low pressure is right now. it's sitting

you may see some rain around the marin headlands into the north bay. but the evening now is a bit of a different story. you can see a few of the sprinkles we'll have overnight. clouds spilling over the bay area. cool temperatures. low 60s for the start of the parade. but there you see the rain in the north bay, dropping in now. 3:00 just to the north of the golden gate. and here is where things are speeding up. 6:00 now, san jose looks okay. but notice from san francisco heading into the north bay, the rains pushing through. so if you're going to wait to trick-or-treat in the south bay by 9:00, it does look like the rain is going to be spreading into the south bay. try to get the trick-or-treating done earlier. by late afternoon or early evening, you should be all right. there you go. thursday morning the rain continues, and then scattered showers by thursday afternoon, heading on into friday. so the futurecast picks up the rain about a half inch to more than a half inch in the north bay. less for locations south around san jose. 50s tonight as the clo

the marine headlands to the north, downtown san francisco across the bay bridge and the toll plaza outs we go though this coast, the uplift on the coastal mountains wringing out the rain drops and down the peninsula toward san carlosing redwood city, seeing light rain approaching san jose over to sunnyvale and cupertino. the rain will fill in now and 7:00 in the morning. you can see how this stuff is coming in at a perpendicular angle. areas of the santa cruz mountains may see an inch of rain. san jose a quarter inch or less. what's coming together tonight is this cold front off shore. it approaches and you will notice the sound outside may wake you up. southerly winds ahead of the cold front. here's the cool air aloft. it will drop down snow levels and maybe trigger an isolated thundershower for areas in the north bay early on tuesday. for the giants game tomorrow, we will see some clearing for the afternoon. maybe isolated showers early. after 9:00, the rain will fill in. shower hour by hour for the morning. the midday clearing. heading to five clock looks okay in san francisco all t
