john feehery. i just watched "lincoln" last night. tommy lee jones steals the movie. it's an amazing part. and daniel day-lewis is fabulous.nyway, you talk about the tenth amendment in the south, why is the tenth amendment which reserv reserves powers to the states so much an issue with republicans? why do they love that tenth amendment so much? is sounds like the civil war to me. your thoughts. >> my thought is i would prefer to talk about things not constitutional arguments but the tenth amendment movement is about the federal government is screwing up and we want to have -- spend less of our money and spend more of our money back home. there is a tenth amendment saying that what is not reserved -- not defined in the constitution is reserved to the states and the states should take care of it. the idea that the government locally can do the best job for the american people. that's a constitutional argument. i think it can be a good argument but i don't think it necessarily -- those type of constitutional arguments work with voters, especially in the vast middle where they want you to solve practical problems. >> i think
