it's nasty in new york city today. we are going to see the rain mixeded with snow. reports of delays at jfk. not a pretty morning in new york city and times square, but we have the opposite of that in washington, d.c. can it get any prettier? they didn't have any snow to clean up after this snowstorm moved into the northeast, but it is a nice morning out that way and this weekend's going to be even nicer with temperatures in the d.c. area topping out close to 60 degrees by sunday. we just have to lose what's left of this snowstorm. it is going to snow for the rest of the day, at least until 2:00, 3:00 this afternoon. we have a big snowstorm making its way into the southwest. heavy rain is falling into san diego, moving into parts of arizona, into southern nevada and this is going to turn into perhaps another blizzard for the upper plains. today into tomorrow, we are going to see an inch or more of rain, especially across southern california where some areas could pick up close to 2 inches of rain throughout today erstorms in san diego and snow today in flagstaff. one
