we've been going at this for about 9 months now and mayor lee gave me the honor and privilege of taking on this task. we've had an incredible momentum and we have mayor and condoleeza rice and steve lewis, we have some firepower to the committee in the form of world champions and hall of famer and folks that have taken over part of 10 percent of super bowls and we can't thank you enough for taking this on. we hand off our final package. the one thing i want to realize is that this is a community effort. it's not just about san francisco, santa clara, san jose. it's about the entire region coming together. the reason i took on this goal is that we have amazing things had -- happening in our community and we are going to highlight these in the next six weeks and i'm also highlighting things that are not yet great. we have 1.2 million people who are too poor to meet their basic needs. what we are going to do by bringing the greatest game to the region is we are going to make this for the entire good of the community and that is why it's going to be the most impactful super bowl bid and sup

thank you, very much john for your work (clapping) >> thank you, mayor lee. as the mayor i said we're going to take the t e levels in the airport to create that experience in terminal 1, 2, and 3 and making an international terminal had opened. when this opened in 2011 it became a stated for airports worldwide that has conveniences unique amenity like the yogurt room. it has $14.50 per passenger. we want to continue to make those improvements for the convenience of travelers. boarding area e we're here right now and this will opulence a year from now. and it will handle united airlines. we're going to improve the center checkpoint in terminal 3 and expand the front gate as well. shortly after the competition of this building we're going to do terminal b. terminal one will be valve improved and fanned and the t two experience will be carried throughout the whole airport. we look for the lobby area to be improved. we're very pleased as well to be moving forward on a four-star hotel 4 hundred rooms the air train system has been designed to stop right in front of

i think that mayor ed lee's point is not only celebrating our accomplishments but thinking about the work that we have to do is an important one. the fact that we have the first mayor who is asian american and let's think about the folks who need advocacy and the folks that are immigrant and need services and still have the rights not yet fully upon them. let's take this month to celebrate and do one other thing, call a senator or call someone in congress and say what do you think about immigration policy? let's do something and take one extra step and action this month, to not only recognize what we have done and the people who have done all of the work beforehand to give us these opportunities now. but what we can do to help the next generation forward. so today i just wanted to thank you and ask you to do one other thing to really help promote the asian american community and just the cultural diversity in this country. thank you. (applause) >> good morning mayor lee, supervisor chiu, supervisor ferrell. thank you for the opportunity to speak today on work for services. my name is -- the manager of chinatown one-stop career center operated by self help for the elderly and charity cultural services center in the heart of chinatown since july, 2010. we have seen thousands of job seekers. thank you for the opportunity to speak today on behalf of those workers who are not able to speak today about their needs and lack of access to vital, critical job training and services. this year we have had more than 25% cut, 200,000 cut it work for services at the chinatown one-stop center and hundreds of people will not have access to the vital work for services that are critical to the family economic success but only of residents of district 2 and 3, but citywide also. today i urge you to continue to invest in the workforce needs of san francisco which not only includes job seekers looking for skills of great, occasional english as a second-language training but also those workers currently workin

that is why it is so important and one of the things that i want to commend mayor lee on is that i do think that since he became mayor this process has changed, it has changed in the way that you have seen both the executive and legislative working together. and my hope is that we will continue to do that and you will see this is a process so that many of the issues that are raised here can be taking care of before this matter in a goes before the board of supervisors, that is what has happened in the past and that is the hope that we have. i represent a very amazing district. it has incredible neighborhoods and i want to begin by saying little bit in identifying them of course portola - and i see some folks here - the portola is under one district, it is important to make sure that there is a unified voice. of course we are here in the mission, one of the most vibrant and happening neighborhoods in the city but at the same time challenges that we face here in the nation. of course myrtle heights, we have a number of folks in myrtle. we have these three neighbors working together to i
