what he didn't denounce were the attacks on coptic christians and these christian churches, the coptice is in hiding, a great many christians as well. and yet no denouncetion from this president. why is that? >> you know, gregg, i actually think the president did a good job this week in martha's vineyard when he talked about this issue. we didn't come out and say that the islamists won the election and they should be in charge. that's a good movement from this president. i think it's a very difficult time when you have so much violence going on and you have to remember that he was speaking right after many people, 600, 7 ooshgs 00, 800, are being reported killed. he should have said the violence against the christians in egypt is absolutely unacceptable as well, but i think he got it right in balance and that hew l denounce that violence against the christians. but let's be clear. there's violence going on on all sides and we need to be able to step in and say, stop the violence but be very clear that we do not want an islamist government in egypt. it's not good for u.s. policy. >> ric
