claudia cowan with the news. the hospital says it is following the law. >> reporter: that's right. a judge's order that was given last week to keep jahi alive through the holidays and to maintain what they called the status quo. in other words, the hospital was to take no extraordinary measures to save the girl's life, and that court order does expire this monday at 5:00 p.m. hospitals a mr.ors say while they are sympathetic to jahi and her family they a pose keeping the girl alive because in their view and the judge's view, she is already dead. in a statement issued last night, the hospital said in his ruling, the judge did not authorize or order any surgical procedures or transfer to another facility. again, if jahi is not moved by 5:00 p.m. on monday, doctors will take her off life support. the family says if the hospital won't help they'll bring in an outside doctor to perform the procedure so she could be transported safely. whether that it will be allowed to happen is unclear. >> what the family is saying at this point. what more do you know? >> reporter: jahi's family is sta

expert wes cowan joined roadshow at the state historical museum of iowa to explore some of clemens's amazing sand bottles, now highly prized works of folk art. mark, these were all made by a gentleman named andrew clemens, who was from mcgregor, iowa. clemens was born in 1857 and died young in 1894, when he was only 37 years old. when he was five years old, he was stricken with encephalitis that left him completely deaf. and over the next couple decades, this guy mastered the technique of making these remarkable pictures better than anyone that i've known to exist. all of this sand was packed dry, no water involved, no glue involved, and all of those colors are naturally occurring from the area around mcgregor. let's start by talking about the smallest piece here. and if i didn't see it in comparison to the pieces we're about to look at, i would think this was his ultimate masterpiece. when you look at this thing, you're struck by the level of detail. i mean, it's like a painting of the ship, and then these great, vibrant colors. pretty remarkable. in 2002, the first clemens bottle t

claudia cowan joins me now in san francisco to tell us this is becoming a big problem. be able to go into these places unless they're really serving their owners. >> reporter: well, you know, that's right, jamie and really nothing wrong with people who love their pets but a growing trend has thousands of dog owners abusing the americans with disabilities act so they never have to be apart from their dogs. it is happening across the country. owners claiming they need therapy and comfort dog and taking them everywhere with full protection of the law. they only need to buy a service animal vest, easily available on line and claim a disability. anything from anxiety to depression counts. no proof needed. legally merchants can only ask two questions s that a service animal? and what task does the dog perform? now the law is vague in this area on purpose to protect the privacy of the disabled and most merchants do look the other way, often to avoid a lawsuit but trained service dogs no not to bark, bite or eat food in a restaurant. restaurant. those who daying are calling for
