news day columnist and fox news contributor. welcome to both of you. governor has taken a lot of heat because this investigation was paid for by new jersey taxpayers. they contracted with a private law firm to handle the investigation and everyone is saying, oh, this is, these are a bunch of of friends of christie, even though the guy who led the investigation has never met christie in his life and is a lifelong democrat. seems like the governor can not win either way. what's your take? >> well, look the media spin on this is the best exoneration that taxpayer money can buy. because there are some questions about both the tone and substance of the report, jon, i don't think this story is going to go away. now governor christie is his own best advocate. he always is. he told diane sawyer last night that he trusted too. that was his problem. but i think the real problem is that he is either going to come out of this looking corrupt or clueless and neither of those is anything that aspiring presidential candidate wants to be. jon: kirsten what is your take
