joining us to discuss the search effort, mark english, fire chief in cedar rapids, iowa. chief english, just take us back to yesterday. how did this all happen? >> well, we've had torrential rains the last couple days and my understanding is boys were out and they were swept into the storm sewer and then the one boy was able to make it all of the way out to a lake at the end of the line and walk to a hospital for assistance and that's what alerted us to start searching for the other boy. >> chief, where do you even start that search? how do you even go about it? >> well, we started at the point of where they went in and then we've been searching with urban search and rescue teams, with dogs, and cameras through our solid waste and sewer department to explore every foot of that line that we can. we're running about 7,000 feet or 8,000 feet of line. we are a little over half done. we're searching with every effort we can. >> describe to us if you will the weather in the area. as we see behind you, you do have what looks like to be fairly clear skies today. what sort of cond
