good morning, katherine. >> reporter: good morning, tam, that's right a-truck overturned, the driveraken to the hospital in stable condition and the cleanup is now under way. you can see the truck is down that way, it's tipped over the median and there's trash spilled on the roadway. emergency crews are here. 75 gallons of fuel from the gas tank spilled so crews are now applying absore want. traffic is getting by because it's early, there's not a whole lot of volume. the truck was traveling in the southbound lane. the closures on both sides of the highway. this happened just before 3:30 this morning on i-95 near the bridge street exit in bridesburg. the driver lost control, landed on its side on top of the median. the fuel tank ruptured, hazmat crews were called to the scene. the truck was carrying trash and now trash is all over the highway as well as the fuel. because it is early there aren't that many cars on the road so we are seeing traffic getting by. of course, as it gets later this problem could get worse. you want to avoid the area because as you can see there is some slowdo

good morning, kris. but they have been vocal, berkeley police have said that back in april, in broad daylight, one officer was knocked out by someone and woke up to this guy getting a gun out of his belt. and their point is that had the officer be armed with a taser, he would have had more control. now the police department also says modern tasers used by officers are equipped with video reporters and log when it's activated and a data trail created. department surveyed 600 residents in april 2013 and found 84% indicated that would more likely support the use of tasers instead of physical force or firearms, but leaders of the coalition for taser-free berkeley says tasers are not an al ternive to to use of lethal force and are used mostly against unarmed people. adding, there were 547 taser related deaths from 2001 through february of this year, according to an aclu study. still the city of berkly is looking for consultant to city the pros and cons of taser use. some considerations are changes in taser te
