this is in jack london square early this afternoon. union pacific and amtrak trains were stalled for over an hour because of a mess of power lines near the track. again, that all happened because of the wind and we talked to one woman who saw it happen. >> i was standing in my loft and i heard rattling. so i looked out of the window and i felt a tree moving and it started to fall. it snapped the power line and there was a spark and then bam, straight down and i could hear the asphalt peeling up. >> and as if all of that weren't enough, ferry passengers, some of them were out of luck. ferry service was canceled this afternoon because of the high winds and made it too dangerous for those boats to come across. so, they had to transport people back and forth using buses as well. so didn't matter if you were taking bart on the road, in a ferry, on the rail lines, this high winds were definitely having an impact on people trying to get around the bay area. frank, back to you. >> i don't think i would want to be on a ferry right now. ali rasm
