when we presented to the rate fairness board last time. it was important to be able to describe to them for their consideration both the program design and the rates. sort of like what are we getting for that price. and so what you see in the schedule is meeting with stakeholders to discuss program design and policy guidelines, taking those program design guidelines and procurement reform issues to our commission and then taking it to the rate fairness board. so we will know as a staff that we've done some outreach within the community, we've informed, we have taken that into consideration, we've informed our commission as to what we recommend, we've taken that into consideration and then we bring it to the rate fairness board for them to consider as a package, the program design as well as the not to exceed rate. then we go out, we do a lot of things, but one of the thing we do then is go out to the market and see if we can get resources to match that program design at that not to exceed price and we come back to the rate fairness board wi

body to the successor agency aka, the board of supervisors follow the board of supervisors' rules order. this will allow us to treat successor agencies like board business so we don't have to schedule time-consuming committee of the whole board meeting every single time a successor agency item comes up for a vote. today i'm introducing an ordinance to streamline a couple of the group commendations. we currently have restaurant commendations and small business commendations. local restaurants are small businesss and i propose that we consolidate these into one. group commendations are great opportunities for the board of supervisors to acknowledge leaders in our community, but they take about an hour and a half of the time during the board meetings. that is not always fair to those who have other business before the board. and the restaurant and small business owners themselves are very busy people and often have to close up shop when they come here for those commendations. so as a compliment or alternative to that, my legislation officially recognizes that january is restaurant month in

i'm here to ask the board to exempt motorcycles and scooters from the rpp program. i recently am in a neighborhood that area q has added the rpp which will hopefully allow for a bit more park ining our neighborhood and everything else but then was to find out that the motorcycles were charged the same $110 that a car is charged and the rational for that is the cost of enforcement is the same. now, we all know that common sense says you can stick 8 motorcycles in one car space so i'm hoping you guys can help invent advise mow cycle and scooter parking but taking the need for the rpp for motorcycles and scooters which clearly will allow for more parking, less congestion, less wear and tear in the city. the revenues that the rpp bring in from motorcycles, i haven't been able to find this 10 million that it puts out for the car, if motorcycles are included in that, it's a small number. motorcycles will help, gone are the days of the harley david sons, we have thousands of small scooters that just add to the transportation system, unfortunately, the mta doesn't really ad
