i had a chance to speak with fayden santana today.ore do we know about the dash cam video? >> it could come as early as today or more likely tomorrow when state officials plan on releasing it. but what we don't know is what exactly it captures. now, we know that it doesn't capture the actual moment of the shooting in which officer slager shoots and killed walter scott. but it could reveal a little more about the actual traffic stop that kind of precipitated the killing. it might shed light on who was in the vehicle with walter scott, what happened after that sparked the actual foot chase that led from about 150 yards from where the stop happened to where the ultimate killing happened. and so we know it's coming soon. today or tomorrow. everyone's hoping that it may shed more light on this kind of -- this horrific incident. >> all right, trymaine thank you so much. trymaine lee from south carolina. we're monitoring this news conference from mario gibbons. he's a young man at the center of a 2013 complaint that was filed against officer

. >> reporter: here's what fayden santana says he saw before he started recording. >> he had control of scott and scott was trying just to get away from the taser, which the taser, you know, you can hear the sound of the taser. >> reporter: he had been tased at that point? >> yes. >> reporter: his video led to a murder charge against officer michael phleger. police can't explain what he picked up and dropped near the body or why the police officers performed first aid and cpr when the video doesn't show that. >> there are questions that i had in my mind that i can't answer right now. >> dying on our street or -- >> reporter: 100 people protested last night. >> this is not an isolated incident. >> young black men, unarmed are being hunted down like deer. >> reporter: that's exactly how walter scott's mother felt when she saw this. >> he's my child. i saw him running like you would kill an animal. i couldn't watch it anymore. >> but there will be more video. the dash cam which should come out as soon as today but north charleston says they're buying body cameras for all their officers.
