everyone and i will begin this evening i'll talk about the history in the mission of the occ organizational development our budget investigations and the legal unit including our policy work and recommendations and emotions and outreach and finally, the information technology occ was created by a board of supervisors initialed charter by the voter in 19982 we became fully operational we're under the jurisdiction of the san francisco police department how iuoe our mission to investigate the complaints fairly and impartially to mangle recommendations on police practices i've been a director since 2007 and i was hired open the heels of a critical audit report titled poor cases of staff management with the occ investigation one of the finding in that report was a 16 cases per investors was best practices but in 2007 investors caseload from 20 to 45 cases at the conclusion of 2014 the medium caseload was 24 cases today, the medium caseload is 28 cases and one investor has 32 cases moving to go back moving to organizational development and this budget year 2014-2015 which is about to conclude our
