i would like to turn to kevin to talk about why does this matter to people you go kevin -- two people? kevin: among my clients are these old-school subjects. the american society -- and an american vessel -- i'm on the board for a public participation project, which is an organization to raise awareness about the anti-slapp statute and lawsuit. i clearly have a position that these are very important protectionist -- of free speech -- important protection of free speech. i have some backup. this shows how ugly justice can be. we are focusing with regards to the internet. that is the biggest change of the last five years. the game has changed with regard where everybody is able to reach out to the entire world. the reason these statutes are important are they level the playing field for your eyes. i've worked primarily with other organizations. it is a train on their time, a drain on their resources, it is emotionally stressed. i get stressed out when i have a client threatened with a lawsuit. we'll get that tossed out of court in days. it is not a problem you are going to win. you get

kevin, good to see you. >> it's great to be back ali. >> kevin in 2005 you did a study on the economic impact of public investment in infrastructure, back then the government spent $185 billion to build and maintain the transportation system and a study showed it generated more than $790 billion a year in net economic benefits. this sounds like a no brainer. why are republicans not supporting this? >> well first of all listening to your great intro, the only thing i wouldn't disagree with? band aids are great products, i use them all the time, i'm glad i got a band-aid, the bill is worse than that. the fact that i think one, spending money on infrastructure wisely is something that is not controversial. but two, something you talk about on your program all the time, if we give money to congress to spend, it's not necessarily going to be spent wisely. you drive often in the new england area, how often are you caught in traffic? >> often. >> when we have a highway bill congress is going to allocate the money across the states according to formulas and before you know it, have you driven

joining me now is matt miller and kevin tynan. when you analyze these numbers how should we look at these numbers? is their own forecast, so maybe that's not so impressive. kevin: and even if you set them up yourself -- the real factor is going to be the model x coming in the second half of the year. and if that's on-time and on target, that's probably a more important metric than what we saw with the first half of the year. cory: a substantial difference in terms of the growth rate. the number i look at his sequential growth. you will know more about cars than i will forget -- or you will forget more about cars than i will ever know. the year over year thing come at this stage in the company, the right way to look at it is quarter over quarter. matt: absolutely. and it's the way analysts in the industry are looking at it. you have 15% growth second quarter over first quarter. so even though they sold less than 40% of the cars they have forecast for the full year, they want to sell 55000 and heavily sold 21,000 in the first half,

. >> we're talking to kevin today. thanks for being here today. you wrote this book on the golden gate bridge, hope and dispair. why did you feel like this was important to share with the world. >> i wanted folks to know what happens. suicide, there's this stigma attached to it that we don't talk about. i want to show what it's like, how does it hit the families. i almost lost my little boy 14 years old because was traveling the world speaking about this and not seeing what's going on with my own little boy. there's so many things we can reach up and talk to others about. kevin, here you are standing on the edge of life with these men and women. you brought down more than 200. how much did you relate to your personal experiences and i bring up your diagnose of cancer when you were young? does that come up in stories as you're having dialogues. >> i didn't use it. i lost my grandfather to suicide. i had the cancers. i didn't bring it up unless they talked about it and said you haven't been through it. it's really important no matter where it is. it
