northern new hampshire above average as well. here are your highs around the state, northern new hampshire in the mid 50's, so a little too warm for snow making. although the nighttime temperatures are dipping down, it's just the daytime temperatures that we have to watch out for. one year ago today in concord, here's the temperatures we were seeing for highs, mostly 40's and a couple 50's, one 60-degree day, in comparison to this week, we're expecting 60's to near 70 all week. but last year in northern new hampshire look at where the temperatures topped off this same exact week, mostly in the 40's and 30's. that's the reason they were able to make snow last year. not so much this year, at least for this week. mike haddad will have a closer look at the temperatures to expect for the rest of this week in a few minutes. josh: it's been four months now since new hampshire's hands-free driving law went into effect and police say they have been handing out tickets, just not as many as for speeding. heather hamel is live with a look at

a look at the satellite view, just northern new hampshire and far northern new hampshire at that. it's causing a couple of clouds, but the air is so dry, it's not doing a whole lot with it. here is the front pushing south. as it drops out of canada. it cools things down and this time of year is when we have our coldest weather and that's no exception here, exempt except it's going to be the warmest or second warmest the past couple of days here in new hampshire. here is the coolest air. right now, november is in the first spot for the warmest november in history, however, with this cold air equalizing out. we'll see if that knocks it down at all and knocks us into second place. we'll see what happens into the weekend and tomorrow. all right, so lots of sunshine on the way for today. futurecast does a good job pointing that out and a few clouds could linger and maybe a flurry or two in the mountains on the northern slopes, but that's about it. everywhere else we are clear to mostly clear out there today and tonight. tonight, a colder night than what we've just gone through. a lot o

central and southern new hampshire cooling back to lower to mid 40's. and a little above that concord points south and southeast. temperatures overnight tonight, upper 20's and lower 30's for many. early tomorrow morning it will be 30's to around 0 and then a nice jump back into the 50's. fair skies towards new england, you're starting to notice increasing high clouds to our south. and south of that over the my atlantic region that's where the next system is coming in from, some beneficial rain starting as early as tomorrow afternoon. but the here and now showing it all clear, that will allow temperatures to fall off quite a bit, 20's to lower 30's by early morning. sunshine to start off your tuesday, then the cloud will be on the increase, and the rain likely picks up during the late part of the afternoon, over southern new england and the northern edge of that will likely make it into southern parts of the granite state after 3:00 or 4:00. generally again light rain here. notice beyond that time frame the lane lifts to the north and picks up in intens
