i'm dan shaffer. a bill is being debated at the state capitol that would bring recess back for many schools across the state. recess in even elementary schools have been phased out to make time for state academic requirements. this bill would make it mandatory for k-5, it would require 20 minutes of free play time everyday. some school administrators claim they would have to make the school day longer if that law passes. >> let check traffic now with janelle. >> good morning. we're still watching this crash, northbound 275 over in pinellas county. has traffic backed up all the way through downtown st. pete. you can see here it's just interstate at 54th avenue north. some roadblock there. in the lanes. so cars having to work their way around this. there is the crash on the map. look at the traffic indicators in the red on 275 northbound. let me zoom out so you can see how far it extends, all the way from 22nd avenue south. your alternate u.s. 19, even 4th street, both of those moving a lot quicker now.
