new details this morning regarding a grisly murder case out of humboldt county. detectives say pam erwin... who is accused of killing her husband... james irwin 12 years ago... has now told them... she and another man.. james melendez.. tried to encase her husband's body in concrete when they buried him in a shallow grave. pam was arrested january 5th on murder and conspiracy charges. the 57-year-old from elko made her first court appearance last week and waived her right to a preliminary hearing. enter a plea to a second-degree murder charge february 2nd. melendez her alleged accomplice... was arrested last week in arizona. he remains in jail awaiting extradition to face charges of being an accessory to murder and conspiracy to conceal or destroy evidence. these cold temperatures are also impacting grafitti removal. city officials say cold weather prevents them from using certain graffitti abatement equipment. instead, crews are using spray cans and paint rollers -- which take a lot more time to cover large areas. they say with higher temperatures in the afterno
