into the carolina kitchen. jackie with perfect pretty sweets is with us. you are making something that sounds delicious. what is it? >> i'm calling it a mini trifle. it is a -- it is a cupcake in a jar. we have a nice strawberry glaze we'll make. take a store bought cake. cut it out. place this in the jar. and then we layer, with whipped cream, it is yummy when it comes >> so what we start with is the strawberry glaze. we are going to mash some frozen or fresh strawberries in a pan we'll heat it up on medium heat. we'll mash them down to where they become a pulp. we'll add in a tablespoon of butter and half a cup of sugar. that's all going to melt down together. it is going to get translouis sent and thicken up when we add our corn starch. it is simple. you add it all -- mash it in, heat it up. when it comes down, you come out with something that looks like this. this is the glaze that we have that we had into the the layers of the trifle. >> there are only four or five ingredients, a slury of corn starch, stra
