let's go to breaking news from overnight, and protests in charlotte, north carolina, extending past the midnight curfew that was set. the third night of demonstrations, though, did remain mostly peaceful. let's go to 7's jennifer eagan. >> jennifer: christa, police geared up for a third night of protests in charlotte. there were a few outburst, but overall a much more calm de the midnight curfew was ignored by many, but police did not appear to force protesters off the streets. those protesters are demanding that police release dash cam video of the incident where keith lamont scott was shot and killed by an officer earlier this week. police say scott refused to drop his weapon, but others say he never had one. and breaking overnight, in another case, the tulsa officer charged with shooting an unarmed man turned herself into police. this is betty shelby's mugshot. she was booked and released shelby is charged with felony manslaughter after killing terrence crutcher last week. after the shooting, shelby's attorney said shelby suspected crutcher was high on pcp at the time. shelby said he would not follow commands and seemed to be reaching into his s.u.v. video shows crutcher walking hey way with his ha
