this is the new bloomberg poll, 45%. trump is ahead 43% for hillary clinton. and now within the past few minutes, nbc news came out in nevada. take a look at this one. in nevada, hillary clinton 43%, donald trump 43%. why is her lead shrinking in these key battleground states and nationally? >> i don't think it's owed to any particular issue. i think as i mentioned you tend to see this coming together of the polls, the narrowing of the gap in most presidential races. what i'm encouraged by is when you look at florida and nevada and who is voting early, it's predominantly democrats voting, they're voting in stronger numbers than when president obama ran. that is very encouraging. so that tends to be more indicators than the narrowing of the polls. it's all about the ground game, and i think the clinton campaign is much stronger than the trump campaign. so i'm still feeling very optimistic. but at the same time, we can't take anything for grant it. there is one risk, there may be people polled who don't want to admit they're supporting donald trump. so for that r
