same thing in saint helena if you are driving to yountville towards napa, that's pretty moderate to heavy rainfall. i would give myself 30 minutes until this pulls out of the bay area. slippery when wet for sure. and this is our time lapse map. we can see the precipitation continues to drift south even though the area of low pressure is lifting to the northeast providing plenty of rain and snow mix in the high sierra. we are in the 40s and 50s seeing some areas of fog around santa rosa, but rain should taper off after 9:00 this revealing ample sunshine, temperatures in the 60s just about everywhere. we are talking about 63 degrees in the brentwood area. that's one of our outside numbers, pleasanton same. danville 63. mid-60s around fairfield. northwest winds picking up later today 10 to 20 with the sunshine in the north bay. 50s and 60s. this is just the first in a series of systems that will roll through the bay area. we'll track the second one and the third one coming up in less than 10 minutes. >>> lake tahoe could see up tole." it's good news for the ski resorts. lake tahoe could see
