jonathan: air force f-16 part of the thunderbirds crashed at an air show in dayton ohio. nancy: for the latest on this, go to nathan edwards from the sister station wkef. nathan, what is the latest on this? nathan: a passenger and another taken to the hospital. they were alert and talking to the emergency crews at the scene. the emergency crews are still on the runway blocking the thunderbird jet. it actually flipped on the top trapping the pilots inside. i took hours to get them out. the air force said it was a practice flight ahead of the weekend air show. the weather hasn't been ideal for flying. it's been wet and windy all day. so we d caused the crash. what we are hearing from the thunderbird team shortly. it's not clear if they plan to fly in the air show this weekend. jonathan: quick question, f-16 is normally a single-seater. so two people is usually a ride-along for media or v.i.p.'s. do we know if this was a ride-along plane that went down? >> we are hearing familiarization flighted. what that means is the people riding were likely part of a thunderbird crew out
