this will model what will happen in terms of the shadow of the moon hitting the earth and what that will look like. you have everything to scale. the shadows will work to scale. what you will do is take this outside and the tricky part is you use the actual son and the the stateu manipulate so that the shadow of the moon is cast on the earth. i can't do that in studio because i don't have the sun right here but i have a photograph. this is a photograph showing what the earth ball will look like if you line things up properly. that is pretty easy to do. if you look carefully, but i love about this model is that the very dark shadow that you are seeing in the middle of this marble representing the earth is the total eclipse occasion. if you live on the earth in that super dark shadow, you get to see the total eclipse of the sun. the outside ofon a very dark circle, it is another shadow, not as dark. that is where you will see the partial equips. using this activity, you are learning about shadows, the hombre shadow, the 10 number shadow, thee umber pen-umber shadow. this is one of the many
