registration begins at 8:30 this morning at jefferson alumni hall at thomas jefferson medical college10th and locust streets. the event runs until 1:00 this afternoon. >>> welcome back to weather. we are talking temperatures that are not bad to start in our philadelphia neighborhoods. it's a little more chilly as you start going north and west suburb neighborhoods, that's upper 40s, low 40s. but 50 at the airport, 52 west mt. arie. chestnut hill at 48 right now and also 48 in torresdale. sneaking in just a few of those mid upper 50s. this as i've talked about many times before likely due to that urban heat island effect. you have a lot of concrete and metal, things that will hold heat in overnight and release takes longer so temperatures do not cool as much. certainly something we see very typical in bigger cities. looking at radar and satellite map, perfectly clear again. i love this. i love a nice sunny day on the weekend. that's what we have. today's going to be a sunny to mostly sunny forecast. and those temperatures yet again are staying very warm. so let's talk about this nation
