geena davis has been doing incredible work. up until about two years ago, this is going to blow your mind, 82% of crowd scenes were male. men. just think about that. and it's not that big a deal to put 50% women in your damn crowd scene. years ago when james cameron made "alien," i don't know if you know this, but that was written for an all male cast. and somebody had the bright idea of casting a woman as ripley and they didn't change a word of dialogue and that became an incredible film, but nobody ever recognized it as the feminist landmark that it was because that was incredible. and then nobody ever did it again. they put the women right back in the back. the second "alien" ended up being some stupid mom plot. so the women who are doing this now have really brought a full acceptance that when we paradigm shift, there's no point in doing it unless it shifts for everybody. i feel like i should -- >> hi. i'm teresa sipputeo, columbia college, columbia business school. and i was very struck by what you said, that you found com
