next project is the northern police station richmond police station and taraval police station renovation. it's under construction, and the contractor is moving along, and they have completed the site and drainage work at richmond police station. they've also -- are close to 80% done at northern police station. and the next project is the firearms simulation training facility at the lake merced range? the modular building was fabricated at an off-site facility and it was delivered and shipped to the site and placed on a foundation that was built by a different contractor. that work was completed and the mission police station renovation which is a structural strengthening project at this station is -- has completed 65% design? it's actually further along now, with upcoming mile stones on the various projects, the firearms simulators training facility was supposed to achieve completed construction in april 2018, but due to some late discoveries during construction, it's now going to be completed this month, and it's actually substantially completed. and the building is done. the simulation

station 35 update. for the new station 35, we have an important meeting with them on june 11th, with bcdc, bay coastal development commission i believe. we have a meeting that the chief will be attending. this is for the station 35 permit approval. we've been working with bcdc for quite a while in terms of what the building looks like and it's footprint and all of that. so, this will be a big step in the process for us getting that permit approval. and then we will be able to move forward with other permits that we need to get. but bcdc is really the big one for us. the adf. ambulance deployment facility. there's been plenty of talk about that. determinelation and abatement -- determinelation and abatement has begun behind station nine that were filled with asbestos and some other things. but that has begun and dpw, bless their little hearts, has already pulled all the construction permits for adf. which is great and they're currently preparing the contract proposal to go out to bid. so that's great new

and the station area. and really to dedicate police staffing to help bart. we are short almost 30 bodies in the bart police department. we are desperately trying to hire high quality candidates, but it's very difficult. as we are continuing to try to hire, we need help from the san francisco police department and that's what the mayor and chief scott has helped us with. on wednesday, i was there in the morning doing site visiting and immediately, i saw san francisco police department at the top of the top of the entrances and patrolling in the concourse area. and i started to receive lots of compliments from people. they're cheerful, just again, adding that positive energy we desperately need at that station. this will continue. we had a follow-up meeting with the mayor and his team. this partnership is going to continue with sf police department and we're excited about that and it's going to be fantastic for our customers. >> co-chair blacksten: sounds good. any more questions? >> council member mcdonald:
