as we move into what's causing the smoke here in the bay area, it's the mendocino complex. the most growth on the eastern side of the fire. currently, 90 degrees. good flnews tomorrow, not too gt eye, gusty. no major wind event expected for the fires, but another hot day. it's going to feel strange outside. we have the fog we'll be dealing with, the smoke, and then we'll get cooling for the morning, temperatures in the upper 50s to low 60s. nowhere near our classic, nice, crisp mornings due to the fog. you'll also have the haze fort east bay, san francisco and the north bay. by the afternoon, temperatures do warm up. we'll stay out of the 100s, but notice in the south bay we'll still be warm in morgan hill and gilroy with low 90s, cupertino at 82. go by the bay, anywhere from 84 in fremont to 70 in oakland. the spot to go would be the coastline. the ocean breeze kicks up, you'll get nice, clean air. 60s from the embarcadero to ingleside. and for the north bay, 61 at point reyes. and over to napa we have it at 84 degrees. san francisco will stay in the 60s the next few days.

the mendocino complex too, just got an update from cal fire that the ranch fire, the northern half ofino complex, grew by another 40,000 acres in the last 12 hours. now over 156,000 acres, just that northern branch in that mendocino complex. again, gusty and dry, highs near 90 degrees. to the north you see ukiah still in the 90s. bayside temperatures not that bad. we're seeing 60s around san francisco, mid-70s in oakland. as you get into the santa clara valley, upper 80s around san jose, 90 south of downtown. as you head to the east bay valleys, unfortunately hot and hazy at times as smoke continues to move in from the north. so as we go through the end of the weekend, tomorrow may briefly see a slightly stronger sea breeze. that's going to carry us on from sunday into monday. then high pressure unfortunately is going to build back strongly, shutting down the sea breeze just to the coast and around san francisco. we're not going to see much change temperaturewise but if you're in the valleys come tuesday, wednesday and thursday, not only are the temperatures going to heat up, but with
