they were an early night school. it was controversial. battles between the american bar association and they would do things like saying you can only have so many full-time professors per student. who wantedthese guys to give back and they were teachers and they had experience and they were respected. he found them better teachers then hiring somebody who only had an academic background. to get ridplicitly of the night schools. so many square feet of library space per student. students were working, they did not study there. it is a hardship but he managed. on their education committee and towards the end of his career, the students were testifying they needed to have more professors who had real life experience and were out there on the cutting edge. i watched him mobilize coalitions plus he was a member of the illinois legislature for many years, almost 30, and an expert on pensions. when i was about third-grade, i answered the phone one morning. said, if your house catches on fire, the firemen will not come. and he wasy dad spreading p
