wayne county is the most populous county in the state. it includes detroit a city made up predominantly of democrats, specifically african-american democrats. wayne county went heavily for biden in the presidential election. after all the votes were counted joe biden won wayne count by 37 points, by more than 322,000 votes. statewide, though, the race was much closer. joe biden won the state of michigan by just 2 points and change, a margin of about 148,000 votes which predictably has made wayne county a target of the president's crack legal team because if you can throw out enough ballots in blue, blue wayne county, if you can depress joe biden's victory there, you can make a dent in the statewide lead big enough it could flip the results in donald trump's favor -- maybe. that would, of course, only work if there were enough graud fraudulent ballots in wayne county to throw away. there's absolutely nothing to suggest that that is the case in wayne county, in michigan or for that matter anywhere else in the country. but, boy, has the trum

county board wayne of canvassers noted significant problems with the election counting process across the county. when the republican canvassers asked the state to take a little more time to investigate, they were treated again with hostility and intimidation. so rather than treat those threats seriously, many democrat elected officials looked to further intimidate and threaten these officials. election after election, we have had the same issues. we certify, and then forget until the next election. if folks are proud of a 71% out-of-balance count in our largest community in the state, then we have very different ideas. this is why i implore the board of canvassers to provide a meaningful review of wayne county. in the future, i would ask this board to do three things -- first, please use your platform to ensure that all challengers and participants in the election process are treated equally regardless of their party. -- second, please use your platform to end all threats and intimidation to republicans and all parties. all deserve to have an election with integrity where every legal
