it's near orlando where brandi campbell is standing by from fox weather.. >> good afternoon or still good morning, guys. it has been a long day for first responders and residents here in florida. right now i'm in kissimmee 30 minutes south of orlando where the fire department, they've been rescuing people. 127 people rescued and taken to a local hospital including ten pets and 17 folks actually taken to the hospital. so you take a look behind me, this is a main road right here. [inaudible] businesses, also flooded in this area as well. so the fire department they are 40 strong right now still going around checking for residential areas near creeks and any bodies of water. that's where they're more likely to have flooding in the area. the more important thing is the people impacted by this rain, my team says they had eight inches of rain in 24 hours and the winds are howling overnight and still coming in gusts, some very strong, blew off my hat into the water, who knows could be contaminated. we're not sure. the folks are definitely impacted by some water r

brandy campbell is live in naples. hey, brandy. >> good morning, brian.e are pretty dry, lucky at the moment but storm surge is something they are going to look out for here. forecast sensor expect about eight feet of above ground flooding here and the elevation, if you look around, there is not much of a dune system we are seeing in this area and elevation is about three feet here in naples. now, right now we are at the city pier, this is one spot expected to see the flooding and one the mayor told me they have seen people come to for years to sight see during storms or surf, it's not normal with big waves here. they are encouraging people not to do so and the police might close it if things get too bad here. to keep folks safe here, the city announced they are in a level 2 activation, so normal daily work is on hold here as the city prepares. so that's making sure equipment is ready to go, they are closing recreational facilities, parks, and the city dock by 6:00 tonight, even cancelling events and asking people to minimize travel during this storm. the

let's go to brandy campbell in orlando, florida, reporting for fox weather, your hurricane headquarters good afternoon. i'm coming to you from orlando where we are feeling some of the impacts from hurricane ian. as you can see, it is raining. it is light out here but we definitely have a breeze. if you look at the tree behind me, not very dramatic just yet, but in the coming hours it is definitely going to increase as we get into the night. we are expecting winds up to 75 miles per hour, especially overnight going into tomorrow, and about a foot of rain in this area. now, it's interesting, because orlando is in the path of this hurricane, but it's also a place where many people have resorted to. so it is a safe haven for some, but also we are going to get these impacts here. back to you. >> amy: amy freeze here, one of your colleagues from fox weather. as you are looking around, are you seeing anyone in the orlando area that has stayed back? anyone who didn't evacuate? any emergency vehicles? we are seeing in the surrounding communities that everyone is on lockdown. >> in the orlando ar

let's go to reporter brandy campbell live for us at cape canaveral and i feel like it's a little dejafingers hoping waiting, but, you know hours into the morning. we realize there was going to be an issue. that's right. it was another early morning for everybody who wanted to come here and cover this event. and like you said it feels like monday all over again. but this time the countdown clock is stuck at t minus two hours and 28 minutes, so we didn't even get as far launch director charlie blackwell ended up calling a scrub for the second time over an hour ago, so the place is starting to clear out here, but let's take a look at the launchpad where artemis remains once nasa does have a successful launch. it will take a trip around the moon and back in the point of this first one is to do a stress test on the vehicle without any astronauts on board. unfortunately teams here they could not get past a leak when trying to fill the core of the rocket with liquid hydrogen, and they first came across this issue in the 77 o'clock hour and made three attempts to try to fix it before calling
