but there's no collective blackwell. there's no collective white wealth. in fact, the thing i just wrote, since we all have been conditioned for 100 years to think of black people as operating with a hive mind, so we all want the same thing, public can speak for everybody now. that point may not come through clearly enough. but let's imagine a white nurse, who has fallen on hard times. and is facing eviction. and then imagine the possibility of her trying to dip into the pool of collective white wealth, to pay a landlord or pay a mortgage. or even better, she texts jeff bezos and asks him to pitch in, because they're white together. i mean, that doesn't happen. so, what's going on here is that the whole wealth focus is and extrapolation of the mindset of the investor class onto all black people. so, making rich black people richer doesn't do anything at all but for the rest of us. in fact, to the extent that it legitimizes the largest patterns of inequality because they are richer, it does bad for the rest of us. as my colleague walter ben michaels have be

everyone just calling the cops, you know, around the corner on durant, a student took this video from blackwell hall at about the same time. first responders are seen removing victims from a vehicle they were like. for those inside a car and they were like they got shot. so like they basically were like, pass out and like the police just tried to get them out of the card and, like, just put them in the floor, and there was like blood everywhere. we saw blood several feet away, right outside resident hall unit three. police have not clarified whether they're treating the shootings as one incident or two. regardless the violence has rattled nerves. kind of scary, like when you're actually there and you're hearing gunshots like down the street from where you are. it's sad, right? it's a berkeley and there's lots of students here. one student tells me the streets were busy during the time of the shootings, because at parties had just ended. please have yet to release any information about the victims or potential suspects, but we do know they have been reviewing surveillance video. greg liggins ktv
