warming up quickly down the peninsula from san francisco and into the santa clara valley. mid-60s, not bad for early april. low to mid-60s for inland parts of the east bay. temperatures around the central bay, mid to upper 50s, low 60s. mid-50s for the north bay because of the additional cloud cover and a chance for showers keeping you cool. the neighbors to the north will keep us cooler with a chance for showers and only around 50 degrees for our high. that is not much for the start to april. again, for most of the bay area, the one decent chance for showers looks like it will hold off until tuesday but even then, a few hundredths of an inch of rain, nothing life-threatening or notable but we will see breezy conditions sunday and monday across the entire bay area. keep an eye on that because of the tree situation in the wake of all of those storms. the good news, warmer weather heading our way next week. looking a little beyond friday, easter weekend does look like we will warm up to near or above average temperatures, something to look forward to as we get through our fi

we have marin, san francisco, santa clara valley. by 10:00 it starts in the north bay. it looks intimidating with the yellow but as it sweeps to the south it breaks apart and we are left with mostly cloudy skies, little bit drizzle. by 5:00, it sweeps across the bay area. we are left with hit or miss light showers for the rest of friday and it dries up nicely in time for saturday. if you are heading to the park to check out the giants game tomorrow around 1:35, it looks like rain will stop around noon. that is great news. but the seats will be wet so be sure to have something to dry them with. a quarter inch in the north bay is what we are anticipating, less than a tenth of an inch in the south bay. this system was meant for pacific northwest where they need more rain than we do. we are already above average so it is not necessarily helping with rainfall amounts but it will help when it comes to allergens. it will start ramping back up easter day. one thing i want to mention. we talked about the rain that will come in and out like that. look at sunday. 77 in san jose, 7

and the reason being those water restrictions by the santa clara valley water district.since june of 2021. and because it was in place, they raise the prices to tell people if you use water, it's going to hurt you in the pocketbook in a lot of people said it cost them hundreds of dollars more every time they got their water bill. but if they lift those water restrictions by 15%, that means their water bill will drastically go down. let me show you some video. and here's the reason why on the left side, that's the reservoir before all that rainfall that we've seen over the past 3 months. tell that i think 12 atmospheric rivers and then on the right side, this is what we're sitting now. more than 100% full at one of their reservoirs. and they believe because it's full, it's probably a good time to lift those water restrictions. nothing done just yet janes and area and they will meet at 1 o'clock this afternoon to decide. but if they decide to lifted that means and by by all means they are still stressing conservation. but that means that they will impose that 15 per cent s
