are saying, no, we john redwood, are saying, no, we can't go back to this sort of 1976 price controls . it was done 1976 price controls. it was done by conservative prime minister edwardry little. so there are questions to be asked. i think certainly about the profit margins of the supermarkets. but of course they would say they are working very hard to keep pnces are working very hard to keep prices low. many of them have introduced not just their own brands, but places like sainsbury's have introduced not a sort of lower level, like a sort of budget brand, if you like. they tend to keep them on the bottom rows because they don't really want you to buy those. and places like sainsbury's again, some of their goods, their price matching with aldi. so there really is a battle going on between the supermarkets because of course we're all getting much more mindful of how we money. mindful of how we spend money. but certainly when you go to the supermarket now, it seems like every prices are just going every week prices are just going up and whatever you buy, you seem to end up spending more and more money. yeah and there's one other story we want to talk to you about this
