what language should we look out for not just in the forward guidance but also during powell's presserpe in rate hikes? >> that is a great question that is a big question today how do they frame the next decision. there is a little bit of attention senior data dependent but also cognitive of the lags. i think if you put both of those things together, what they mean the fed is now thinking over a little bit longer horizon than the very next meeting when they say their data dependent it doesn't mean they're going to look at the next four weeks of data and make a decision for the next meeting. you could take a little bit more time that seems to be what they're doing, you're using the data to tell you how high you think rates need to go in the next question how quickly do you have to get there, last year they raise rates rapidly four-point to five percentage points and they got by a quarter-point at each meeting this year. the idea you could space it out even more to do a quarter and that is a way to take on the lags of policy but you're still being data dependent if the economy does not s
