i want to bring in marcus coleman in fema. marcus, i thank you very much for being with us.t wondering what is it that you all are seeing and doing because this has to be a, you know, local, state and federal response. >> yes, thank you for having me. to your point, we are working very closely with our colleagues at the local level and at the state level. we have more than a thousand federal personnel throughout florida and prepositioned throughout the course of the other states including georgia and the carolinas. the key thing we want to make sure every person is continuing to do in florida is stay alert, stay vigilant, follow the guidance of local officials. we still have a lot of impacts and things we're anticipating and we want to make sure for those in florida, they're staying alert, and you still have time to prepare if you're in georgia or the carolinas. and so going back to some of what was just shared by the prior person that was providing some of the weather impacts, we know that we still have a few more days to go. but really want people to continue to listen to

marcus, thanks so much. first, i need to get your reaction to the judge in d.c. team's request for more time to respond to the doj asking for protective order. >> yeah, this is, i think, pretty par for the course. i can't remember a criminal case where it wasn't a protective order in place. i think it's just part of the criminal process and the defense is entitled to having evidence, so that they can properly prepare for trial. the government has an interest making sure that that evidence doesn't just get fully released to the public. that's one of the key differences between a criminal investigation versus a congressional, where, you know, a lot of evidence does get out to the public during the course of an investigation. >> as i understand, it there are obviously two pathways for allowing cameras in the courtroom. either for a judicial conference which, of course, is run by chief justice roberts, to vote for an amendment on row 53, or for congress to pass a law. does either path seem plausible to you? >> i wish i could look into the future and tell you. i'm not

good morning to you, marcus.e hope to learn more in about two and a half hours at a 9:00 news conference at san francisco police headquarters. san francisco police do say that this man was armed with a knife and threatening people in the tenderloin last night. a number of people who live in that neighborhood posted these cell phone videos online of the scene after police arrived. police tell us at around 10:20 last night they responded to a 911 call, they made contact with him and during the encounter, at least one officer fired their gun. police called in the paramedics who had been staged nearby. they began to do life-saving measures. the man was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. his current condition unknown. as is normal with officer-involved shootings, the da's office is investigating, along with the department of police accountability and two internal units with sfpd. we hope to learn more about this officer-involved shooting at a 9:00 a.m. news conference at san francisco police headqua
