the rain is up to the north, lake county has been getting some showers, starting to see some hitting we are waiting until later tonight for the more substantial moisture to swing in over the southern half of the bay area. this is one version of one forecast model, there are others that are a little bit more widespread activity but we are talking about intermittent light showers that are going to be brief, and only going to produce a couple hundredths of an inch of rainfall. by the time we hit tomorrow evening, the rain is going to be quieting down and skies will clear out, sunday is looking pretty nice. it looks like the rain is going to be long gone in time for kickoff of the niners game as they take on the arizona cardinals. kickoff, temperatures right around 70 degrees and topping out into the low 70s by late afternoon. let's take a look at the high temperatures that we observed on this friday afternoon, made it up to the mid-to-upper 70s in the santa clara valley, the numbers are below average but tomorrow is the coolest day we are going to see for a while. also mostly in the 70s
