in contra costa county, i'm jodi hernandez, nbc, bay area news. all right, jodi, thank you. and jeff is here. some clarification and some more information about what's coming at the end of this week. and, you know, i really think that next heat event starts on wednesday. it will be a three day event for us. and then by this upcoming weekend, at least, we should start to see those numbers beginning to drop. let's go ahead and roll it out to our microclimate forecast and a live view here. and this is what saved us from those one hundreds today. look at that fog coming into san francisco. never get tired of seeing that this time of the year especially. it's just provides so much relief for us when a lot of the state is still baking under that heat. we were able to get in on that relief, some spots even coming in right near average for today, like santa rosa at 84, still above average in concord with 94. but i think the big headline again here is thankfully not in the one hundredths, at least for today. now, through tomorrow's forecast, we should also stay out of the one hundred
