cinthia pimentel has a quick look at what our sunday holds.t looks a little a little cloudy behind you. it's a little gloomy sleeping in weather though, for everybody in the north bay. look at santa rosa limited visibility along 101 there, and it just extends into parts of novato out towards napa, about less than a mile there. and it continues into parts of half moon bay. and we're also starting to see it impact our commute down here in san jose. so just be careful of that. we should mix out of here. mix it out of here by around 910 this morning and be in store for another warm day in morgan hill, into the upper 90s. fairly similar for tomorrow, but then watch that temperature drop as we go on into the middle parts of the week. we are tracking a change here as we go on into tuesday and wednesday. we're going to say goodbye to high pressure, that heat that's been with us for the last couple of days and see some cooler, windier and cloudier weather. we'll talk about the impacts coming up in a few minutes. kira back to you. new this morning, seve

forecaster cinthia pimentel has been tracking some of the conditions for firefighters this morning. yeah, we really started to talk about the conditions up there yesterday. of course, the tahoe was a popular destination. i wanted people to know that there was a red flag warning. it expired. and into this morning we saw the temperatures recover as well as the humidity. but still pretty critical numbers up there. will continue to watch this situation throughout the day as we get some breezy winds out there. but for us here in the bay area and really through much of the state, we are going to begin that heat wave for today. it is a spare the air alert day. so anything that we put out into the atmosphere, it's going to sit close to the surface. so be aware of that. if you have any respiratory issues. we'll continue to track any possibility of fires starting. it is dry out there and those temperatures will be spiking. i can offer you a little bit of cooling into the weekend as we track a system offshore that could bring back that sea breeze, but we'll watch as that develops. mike, you're
