the damage is starting to pile up. we have crews everywhere around the bay area covering all these trouble spots. >>> but first let's get right to chief meteorologist paul heggen. >> jules, the rain continues to come down and we still have active warnings in effect. let's start with a recap of those warnings. we're down to one flash flood warning. this did include oakland and berkeley. that just expired at the top of the hour, still a flash flood warning for western alameda county until 7:45 this evening and flood warnings in effect for san francisco, much of sonoma county and a river flood county in effect for the russian river expected to crest at minor flooding stages in the next 24 hours or so. most of the region is under some kind of flood advisory, the lowest category. within the green-shaded areas it means the flooding may not be widespread, but there will be pockets where there's issues withstanding water. we'll start where the rain has tapered off for much of the north bay. there are light showers, but not hea
