high school students in east san jose walked out of school protesting against increased deportations and arrests across the country. yesterday's demonstration coming just 3 days after ice agents were spotted in east jose conducting enforcement in nearby neighborhoods. kron four's jack moment has the story. >> paint considered the heart of east side, san jose and home of migrant and first generation families. and on sundayiit became the target of ice agents as a daughter of immigrants from maybe feel really overwhelmed, upset. and it just because like they're targeting all these positive where they know that there's a lot hispanics around. >> the protest tuesday started with a couple dozen and that 200 to 300 students walked out of high school to protest the recent ice response. all right. i can't be prouder than i am of this group of students right now. >> my my my belief is that education is to empower young people so that they can make change in the world. so it's a better place than the one that we created for them. >> and this is what they're doing right now. principal veto geolo

this is a woodshop teacher at terra nova high school. with a minor and battery against a female student in late 2024. spaghetti has been with the school since 2015 civica. police say there could be additional victims who have not come forward and they say anyone with info about this case or similar incidents is asked to contact the pacifica police department. >> to the north bay. now a man who was struck and killed by a smart train in sandra fell has been identified. the crash happened just after 03:00pm monday on tracks near the intersectien of north pedro road and most richie toes. so road in sandra fell. police say that the train operator saw 54 year-old gregory conroy in grosse. you laying on the track way sounded the horns and applied the emergency brakes but was unsuccessful in stopping in time in grosse. he had died at the scene. the cause of the collision remains under investigation. >> alright, weather time here as we get a live look at sfo. >> and kyla grogan joining us now >> yeah, that's right. you got to talk about rain in o

the three teenagers killed were all seniors at hollister high school. ormer student was in the car with them and is in the hospital right now in critical condition. >> the chp says the teens were driving down a rural road between gilroy and hollister when the 17 year old driver swerved into oncoming traffic and hit another car. two people in the other car went to the hospital. abc seven news reporter lauren martinez shows us the shock and grief as investigators search for answers. >> a roadside memorial is growing to honor three teenage boys killed in a head on crash, the chp says on tuesday, just before 7 p.m, the boys were traveling west on shore road, just outside hollister, when the driver lost control and crossed into opposing traffic. 17 year old angel villegas lemus, 17 year old victor lujan and 18 year old brandon alarcon died on wednesday evening. philip nunez, who didn't know the teens personally, dropped off flowers. >> it's just devastating, man. you know, i think about the families, the parents, you know, the loved ones that are left behind.
