beyond the suv. that's why we're trying to stay as far away from the shot as possible here, but it is believed that there are two people on the scene right there. you can see members of the s.w.a.t. teams there on each end of those police vehicles on the scene. and matt, as we look at these pictures, i'm curious. you are about two miles away at that conference center. does it remain on lockdown tonight or are they allowing people to move more freely? >> reporter: the conference center itself, david, is not on lockdown. and we saw hundreds of personnel and employees being walked this ed onto buses. we do know that the employees of office buildings are still on lockdown, being told to shelter in place, that there is an ongoing. and, of course, government buildings across this city remain on lockdown, armed guards outside. perhaps these two suspects who are stopped, one killed, maybe the other, as well, perhaps they were part of this but they don't know for sure. and until they do, they're not going to
