they cleared the overnight roadwork a little before 4 a.m. they were beginning the process of clearing those right lanes. they had been closed overnight. and right now, just maybe some slight delays in a couple of cash lanes hitting the bay bridge toll plaza. but just a few cars deep. so so far, so good. we have been watching a fatal accident overnight in oakland. it was a fiery crash. for a while it shut down westbound lanes. it was a mess for a while. westbound 580 at 14th avenue but just want to let you know again if you have been hearing about this, all lanes were reopened shortly before 4 a.m. and right now 580 is clear. no delays in the area. same thing on 880. even though the overnight roadwork is still out there in lanes, just in the southbound direction. it looks like it's southbound 880 between hegenberger and 98th. closer to the coliseum, though, everything looks good. we are not seeing much of a delay on our sensors even though the roadwork crews are still out there. they should be wrapping up shortly. so the rest of your east bay
