we have seen snow accumulating on those areas.ke a look at video we shot a short time ago of an accident on an overpass. it was an overpass on the atlantic city expressway connector in atlantic city right now route 30 and the marina district of atlantic city. a car crashed there into a guardrail, possibly spun out in the snow this morning. new jersey state police tell me they are investigating whether the snow and the slick conditions played a role in that accident. one person was taken to the hospital. so if you're out driving this morning, most of the roads are in good shape like this one where we are in pleasantville. again, you want to be careful on the overpasses and the bridges. we did see some snow sticking to one of the bridges on the garden state parkway andç visibility,f course, is reduced because the snow is still coming down. we'll head to cape may county, check out conditions there next for our next hour at 6:00. live in pleasantville, ted greenberg, nbc 10 news. >> drive carefully while you're out there. 30 degrees

one thing that's going to limit the amount of snow accumulating even though it will be falling, are the temperatures. right now we are 38 degrees in philadelphia, mid-30s north and west, also south jersey and delaware but when the snow moves in temperatures will not drop that much. we'll be around freezing and being around freezing with slushy snow which is a type of snow we expect that's going to cause it hard tear accumulate through the area. by 11:00 p.m. here it is, south jersey and delaware seeing the snow. then it will spread overnight, then for 8:00 tomorrow morning a little more organized for new jersey and delaware so that will be the area where we expect the most snow falling for the morning commute. but also snow potentially melting on the roadways. so again, temperatures right around the freezing mark. we'll talk more about this for the morning commute, what it means for the area, how much we may see and warmer temperatures in the forecast coming up. >> because of that snow schools could start late tomorrow. download the nbc 10 app and find out right away when your school di

that's where we're looking at the potential for accumulating snow.t looks like that continues right around the morning rush on monday. we could be looking at slick spots where the snow is going to continue a little bit longer and the snow is going to clear out but it will head in. again, we're looking at a pretty broad swath. again, with that lingering and with the snow falling and intensifying during the overnight hours, we could see some accumulation, up to an inch closer. north and west, an inch. this is going to be an event along the i-95 corridor. just a reminder it's going to be cold and windy and a wet snow. with that coming down at a fast clip, we could see that accumulate on the trees and power lines and we want to mention we want to watch for slick spots. for tonight, lingering rain and snow shower with temperatures around the freezing mark. colder north and west. remaining cold with rain first and that snow developing after the sunset. again, give yourself some time to get around on monday and things improven and the temperatures start to
