i am the vice chair of the citizens advisory committee. i will be providing the cac chair's report today, since the chair was unable to attend this meeting. and item number six of your agenda was considered by the cac in its january 25, 2012 meeting. the cac passed this item and discuss this item regarding the due process of the community outreach and focus on two themes. one, the traffic planning program, and two, what will happen -- traffic planning program and what will happen to the park -- projects in the pipeline. two, from the current length of 36 months to 48 months, potentially to 24 months, how does the sf mta plan to maintain accurate community process? in the next item, number eight on your agenda, as considered by the cac, we pass this item unanimously. this item is focused on the evaluation of the performance process for the funds before and after a vacation of the project, with the flexibility of the tfta funds for possible use in new projects. that concludes my report. i would be happy to answer questions. supervisor avalos

they have just dropped the wind advisory now. we are seeing some pockets of gusts in excess of 20 to 30 miles per hour but doesn't look like we're getting the real strong winds that we expected with the storm system. nonetheless showers outside now. hi-def doppler picking that up. you can see the activity and really heavier stuff off the coastline. some of that also making its way into the east bay now. you can see the storms sliding through so pockets of moderate to heavier amounts of rainfall sliding through the bay area right now near dublin and san ramon and into oakland. off the coast you can see there's still plenty more to come. we'll see this move across the bay area. throughout the morning we'll watch the system rolling through and then toward the afternoon, it looks like we'll get to the back side of the thing -- it's going to split somewhat towards southern california. temperatures will be cooler outside mainly in the 50s. i think toward the next few days we get through the rain today. after this, we dry back out. skie

we have a couple of wind advisory advisories in effect for the bridges. out live towards the san mateo bridge, you can see caltrans' warning sign up on 92 across the span in both directions. wind advisories there as well as one for the bay bridge. so again they issued these early this morning very early at 12:11 in fact. so be extra careful crossing into san francisco as well at the bay bridge. other than that, quiet. traffic still light on this monday morning. here's a live look at the nimitz 880 past the coliseum. looks great up and down the -- really, the east bay not too bad. a lot of green on our sensors. northbound 880 by stevenson boulevard on that on-ramp, there's been an accident. we can't tell if the -- the on- ramp is partially blocked. again, the main lines of the freeway are looking okay. but again that's northbound 880 by stevenson boulevard. we have an accident there at least partially blocking the on- ramp. all right. highway 4 usually one of our first spots to back up and just a couple of yellow sensors there in those westbound lanes. oth
