here's allyson rae with your first alert forecast. >> man, things are loin days absolutely. now it is cold out there. that's for sure. but temperatures this morning were the coldest they are going to be for the rest of the week. we started affidavit in the teens for a -- off in the teens for a lot of spots, that was pretty uncomfortable this morning. 34 degrees that air is very dry. hair might be a little stack icky and shocked throughout and the winds are calm. so the calm winds are going to stay but temperatures are going to head to the 40s today low 40s. and into the upper 30s for a lot of areas. despite a lot of sunshine that's going to be hard the get these temperatures to -- to get the temperatures to increase with the limited amount of daylight. 30 degrees for hagerstown and 34 leesburg and 35 for culpeper. we'll add about another five to seven degrees to this in the next couple of hours before the sun starts to set. and we see a nice cold evening. not as cold as last night but it will be quite chilly. seasonable for the most part. high pressure is moving on in so we'
